A contemporary twist on a suburban front garden. The client wanted a contemporary garden while working within the boundaries of "Zen". This was to reflect the interior of the house so that the garden merged into the house.
Transforming an existing garden to an ideal space for entertaining.
A tranquil haven only a stone's throw from a very busy road and a university campus. The original back garden was completely overgrown and contained the remains of a bomb shelter. The back garden was completed in 1999 and matured rapidly.
This garden was started in 1993 and since then has been evaluated on a constant basis with new elements added and existing design fine-tuned.
A contemporary urban oasis containing mass planting with simple structure and subtle colour. This garden was originally designed in the early 80's and so contained some beautiful specimen trees. The brief was to redesign the entire site while still maintaining specific trees.
A formal garden to reflect clients' tastes. This site was particularly unusual as it wrapped around the house and the challenge was to refocus and divide it into distinct areas.
The brief for this garden was to create a space with a Tuscan feel combining both tropical plants and materials to reflect a sun-baked oasis. The project will be ongoing over the next several years, with new individual features being incorporated into the overall design.
